In light of the recent tragic events in America and what has created a catalyst for change in the world,NCCL would like to state that we are completely against all forms of racism, inequality and injustice in our society. As a church, our vision is for people of all different backgrounds to know God, find freedom, discover their purpose and make a difference, so that through the transformational power of Jesus Christ we are all reconciled into one body, the Church.   We pray that our common goal of advancing the kingdom of God through sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ will keep us all in unity.
We would refer to Ephesians 4:13 and Amos 5:24 as spiritual guidance.

till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ;

But let justice run down like water,
And righteousness like a mighty stream.

A prayer from Pastor Lydia as heard in 14th of June’s message – A faith that counters my bad habits:

We thank you Father that because of your rich mercy and great love towards us we are no longer dead and trespassers in sins, but you have made us alive together in you and that we no longer walk according to the course of this world as children of wrath, and is it because of your amazing grace we are saved.

My prayer is Lord that you will continually help us and raise us up together; to sit in the heavenly places with our wonderful saviour – your precious son, Christ Jesus.

Thank you for this wonderful gift of grace. We know we serve a creative God, so father please continue to create and mould us into a wonderful workmanship, and use us to build your kingdom. Equip us, we pray to do all the good works you prepare for us to walk in in, even before we were born.

Father, we know that without you in this world we were aliens and had no hope, but how we praise you that we are no longer far away from you but are drawn close through Jesus Christ because of his precious blood shed for us, we have hope in you.

Help us to share his hope in our world today. Lord Jesus you are our peace and I ask in your mighty name that you will bring peace into our world and continue to break down walls of separation and abolish the enmity, hostility and ill will and hatred; all of which was put to death by you at calvary.

We bind the enemy and we loose peace into our world. We give you glory for this wonderful peace and that we are no longer strangers and foreigners but fellow citizens and saints together in Christ Jesus, and Father we ask that you continue to fit us together so that we can grow into your holy temple. Build us up together so that the precious Holy Spirit will make his dwelling place among us. Jesus – the chief cornerstone strengthen us in our inner man and help us to be rooted and grounded in your love and share this love with one another.

Now onto him who is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. To him, the glory in the church by Jesus Christ to all generations forever and forever.
